Dots of Life, 2015

Lahore, Pakistan

Dots of Life is an installation. I also call it, “the dots, the discovery, and the destiny” is coming out of the blank canvas. From the very beginning, from nothing to something meaningful. If you experience this work, there is a large wall that grows the dots step by step crafting a meaningful narrative by connecting the dots in retrospect. By understanding the significance of our past experiences and how they have shaped us, we can gain insight into our values, passions, and aspirations for the future.

Steve Jobs said: “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something—your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”

The work “Dots of Life” derives you from the very present, where the concrete cube is hanging, obviously is not the ending but its falling position gives the call of the future where the concrete cube is heading, “forward” and its anecdote connecting backward defining the journey connected with verticality which is a sense of height and “upward movement”
